PAKISTAN READY TO ANNOUNCE NEW PETROEUM PRICE ON 15TH MARCH

the Pakistan is expected to announce on March 15, 2023 new oil prices for the next two weeks, March 16-31, 2023. The country is expected to hike oil prices over the next two weeks due to the massive devaluation of the Pakistani rupee (PKR) over the period. The local currency fell 7.37% to 280. 77 PKR per dollar at the close on March 10, 2023, from 261 PKR.50 on February 28, 2023. During this period, the local unit hit an all-time low of PKR 285.09 on March 2, 2023.
